I just posted last night.
I bleached once last night. And twice today.. IT'S STILL BRASSY! >:/
I bought "White lady" wella toner today. How many more bleachings do you think it'll take before I can tone? And what vol developer do I use with the toner?

I feel like I just want to give up on getting to white. I'm afraid of the damage. (Although right now it's in decent condition still). I feel like dying over it with blue or something so I don't have to deal with bleaching. But I really want white.

i have a longer asymmetrical cut, and i have naturally curly hair. that i straighten on a fairly regular basis.


i want to keep my length, but i want something a little more lively and fun, so i'm willing to cut off some of it in the process.
i also think i want blonde peekaboo highlights, but don't know what kind of pattern to do...

bah....i'm just at a loss....any ideas anyone has would be lovely...i'm not afraid of change, i'm just wary of cutting off tons because i've been growing it out for what seems like forever.
i also don't want it too short because im afraid it'll make my face look fat. haaalp!

I've been growing my hair out for a while but looking back at pics I'm trying to decide what I wanna do. So tell me what you think...


PS: ahem, sorry for the...rather well endowed photo, I was going for a similar head angle...

I'm going to bleach my roots again soon and the rest of my hair is just messed up, it's still pink but to many different shades, some orange due to an inproper bleach job of a local hairdresser, so I want my hair to be as evenly platinum as it can get..any ideas? There's also faded red and pink shades from different brands.
Should I, after I did my roots, bleach the rest of my hair for like 5 minutes? This worked for me in the past, or should I use a decolourizer?

+Is it wise to bleach, then use a white toner, then dye the hair pink? (I think it might be a good idea for other colours like blue or green?)

+How about using vinegar or lemon juice in the rinsing process, to close the cuticles, will it remove to much of the pink? (I don't want to remove any of the pink when I just dyed it!)

+What happens if you use white toner over faded pink, like my hair is now? Would it get the yellow/orange out or would it be like painting a pillar box with white water based paint ;p ?

Hay all.
Long time lurker, first time poster here.

So, I've been trying to grow my hair for ages now, it used to be dead short and bleached. Now it looks like this:


As you can see, its getting long but its also really puffy, I think thats due to there being bleach on the ends of my hair and none on my roots, making it flare out. I think I need a haircut to even it up but I'm not really sure what to ask for. I desperately don't want to loose any length so what should I ask the hairdresser to do?
Also, apologies for the pic, I am ill!

I want teal hair, and not SFX Fishbowl or anything like that... I want a truer, darker, greener teal than that. Even the pictures under the cut are a little light, but they are what I would want it to fade to. So I have two questions: Have you seen any veggie dyes that do that straight from the bottle? What kind of colours could I use to achieve this?

My thoughts so far were SFX Sonic Green (which I'm a little uncertain of), or Manic Panic Enchanted Forest (I hate manic panic so this is iffy, as well).

( And it rips through the silence, all that is left is all that I hide. )

Ok so I'm long overdue for a haircut, and i was browsing http://www.mileyonline.fr and i was looking through the 2009 candids of miley cyrus, and i gotta say i loove her haircut! i know her hair looks ratty sometime and shes annoying, but hey, a good hair cut is a good hair cut :p so i was wondering how would you guys describe her haircut? short layers, long layers, or medium length layers? my hair is about the same length as hers. also her side bangs are really pretty and mine arrre...long and flat, bleh. it looks to me like her layers curve inwards but I know nothing about layers soo I was hoping you guys could help me out! thanks in advance!

oh and also, i dyed my hair dark recently, too dark for my liking (loreal natural match 4c). i wanna lighten it to a milk-chocolate brown color, and i know you cant do that without bleach. how do i go about doing this? i know it should be done by a pro but atm i cant afford that! thank you!

hi! im 20 years old and my hair has started thinning a lot. i dye my roots regularly (black) and im wondering if this is the cause. i know that some hair falls out, but when i shower a lot falls out. if i run my fingers through my hair there's around 20 strands in my hand. its half as thick as it used to be. i dont straiten it often and i dont blow it dry ever, so theres not that much damage to it. this has been going on for about 3 months now.
im wondering what the cause might be or if theres any shampoo, or vitamins i could take to help.
theres no bald spots, but its really starting to freak me out.

Ever since becoming a poor college student, I've been neglecting my hair big time. I don't have much of a hair style anymore, and now that it's winter break, I'd like to get back to something that looks nice. The only problems are that I have short hair (so there's not much to work with) and I am completely unoriginal when it comes to styling.

I'm getting mixed answers. (My hair is dyed black 0_0).. So I'm not bleaching my whole head just part of my bangs.. I already bleached it but as you can imagine it's VERY VERY brassy. When can I bleach again? It's no too damaged, it's actually in decent condition. I just don't want to be walking around with these brassy bangs. Tips please. I just got a Chi curling iron, and when I plugged it in, on the screen showed "ERR", which I am assuming means error. I went through the manual, did the test, reset it, etc, but it still is showing this error sign. I looked all over online, and I can't find anything about it. Any ideas? Thanks.
